Will Gadd ice climb Niagara Falls

The canadian did the first ascent together with Sarah Hueniken

With more than 20 million visitors a year the Niagara Falls are one of the most popular tourist attractions in the world.

Will Gadd decide to climb up the Falls. The line – which sits on the American side of the Horseshoe section of Niagara, near what's known as Terrapin Point – extends approximately 147 feet from bottom to top and the grade Will have estimated is WI6+ also because of huge unstable blocks of ice - "I was taking off pieces the size of small cars" as he said.
