Tre Cime Experience: Daniel Jung 2° at the Misurina Sky Marathon, gold medal for Giulia Scardoni
Another great weekend for our alpine running athletes
The 2017 edition of Tre Cime Experience by SCARPA has been a success with more than 250 athletes who decided to take part to this great race.
The weekend started with the Auronzo Vertical Contest with its 5 km and 780m positive high gain. Cristian Sommariva, from team SCARPA, arrived third in 36’36”.
The two main races, the Misurina Sky Marathon and the Cadini Sky Race, started on Sunday the 10th of September at 8 am but paths have been changed due to bad weather conditions.
Silver medal for our Daniel Jung who has completed the 42km long Sky Marathon in 4:06’:44”. “I’m really glad for having been part of this race, I don’t have many problems running with bad weather, I used to train with rain. I loved the second part of the race, more similar to those I prefer”, said Daniel at the finish line.
Gold medal for the amazing Giulia Scardoni who won the Cadini Sky Race with its 1000 m positive high gain and 20km long.
