Slovenia is one of the most recognized nations in the world as concerning climbing. In the last few years, several athletes of the Slovenian team won the World Cup, writing the history of modern climbing.

The cooperation between SCARPA and the athletes of the team started some years ago. An authentic and productive cooperation that lead to many personal and professional achievements. Among the athletes, we can find big names as Maja Vidmar, Urban Primozic, Domen Skofic and last but not least Jernej Kruder, they are examples of this good relationship that allowed to reach great results together with the test of our products. The highlights of the last months are the Domen’s achievement, who closed again a 9a, and Jernej who classified 9° last weekend at 2014 Vail Bouldering World Cup, Colorado. But we want also to underline the devotion and the passion of the whole team which are expressed by these words that Maja wrote in her web site: “addicted to the feeling of trying hard and feeling sore after a hard training session”.

Passion is the power of the whole SCARPA team which works to innovate and realize products that are always better than the previous ones. In the months that followed the presentation of the Booster S model, climbing product manager Heinz Mariacher’s last creation, we receive many positive feedbacks, that motivated the whole team to go on, looking for new innovative solutions dedicated to all people who share the passion for this sport.

“All of the athletes said that it is a really good shoe, one of the best. I have to say that I thought after Instinct VS it wouldn’t be possible to make a better shoe but when I saw the Booster S I knew that this was possible.
Last year Domen Skofic said to me that he didn't want to have any other shoe, just Instinct VS. But now he said that Booster S is even better. It is much softer and therefore much better for indoor climbing and for competitions.”
