Scarpa Sock-Fit is the innovative construction system designed by SCARPA which envelops the foot as a sock and make you feel one with your shoes. This system “embraces” the foot in a uniform way and gives an immediate comfort sensation. Moreover, the reduction of the material volume makes the shoe narrower and improves the feeling on the foot and the agility during the movement. The good fit obtained throught this construction system, enhances the performance.

How Scarpa Sock-fit was born?

Scarpa Sock-fit was born thanks to the cooperation between Scarpa and Ueli Steck, world-famous alpinist, who asked in 2009 to the SCARPA R&D experts, if they could create a shoe that "fit as a sock". The Scarpa answer was the model Rebel Ultra GTX, called a  ”out of the box” product, but in the Spring-Summer 2014 collection Scarpa made a wide range of products, in different categories, developed with this construction system in order to share the benefits brought by this system.

The “sock-fit for everyone” is the concept from which Revolution GTX was born.

Revolution GTX has a simple and functional design and specific details which are different in the man and woman styles, in order to reflect the two different foot shapes. The man-style is featured by the backward heel-tension for a better lateral support. The woman-style has a specific upper design and padding dedicated to the female foot. The soles, Fagus Lite for man and Driade for woman, have a specific shock-absorbing design in the heel area in order to support the middle area, for a natural and safe walking on all terrains.
