Performance, lightness and design: the best for those who like leaving a footprint on the snow

The ISPO Award international committee made of professionists in the field, chose Freedom RS as reference boot for season 2015/16: this four-buckle SCARPA® branded boot combines the performance of an alpine race boot and the multi-purpose character of a backcountry boot and it represents the best in terms of performance, quality and innovation in the Freeride&Touring Boots category.

This is for who love snow, high mountains and outstanding environments. The new SCARPA® jewel is a concentrated of technology for  performances. The mix of innovative materials and the company know-how of the back country world created a boot that assure unlimited performances downhill and a great comfort uphill.

This 4-buckle Freeride boot has got a shell made of Primary Hp Rnew® Pebax material and a cuff made of Primary Hp Polyammide which give a torsional and longitudinal rigidity without parallel, as testers and developers pointed out – one of those is Chris Davenport who compared the performances of the boot to those of an alpine boot.

Thanks to the carbon insert on the Carbon Core shell and to the Axial Power Control, the boot transmits the impulses to the ski with precision and allows a more precise skiing, while FRS Cuff increases the structural rigidity.

Great fit and stability thanks to the Overlap Closure together with the Booster™ Power Strap Lite which keeps the foot stable for a greater confort while skiing. Thanks to the SCARPA® Finger Strap opening the closure strap is really simple even wearing the gloves; this is true also for the FRS Buckles that simplify the use in every situation.

The chance to change the sole according to the binding and to the terrain makes the FREEDOM RS a perfect and multi-purpose boot for every challenge. Freedom RS. Rides free!
