A Natural Restoration: A Story of Resilience
Launched in June 2021 and spanning two years, this initiative restored 3.5 hectares of woodland severely affected by the storm. Through careful reforestation efforts, the area was transformed into a unique botanical garden: a space for beauty and reflection that symbolizes environmental renewal and community engagement. Educational and cultural workshops held during the restoration period brought students closer to nature, fostering a new generation's awareness of sustainability.
A Christmas Celebrating Nature
This year, SCARPA’s Christmas shop window set up tells a story of tradition, sustainability, and craftsmanship. It features elegant glass spheres created by master glassmaker Pietro Viero. Each sphere encases fragments of spruce bark salvaged from the storm-damaged woods, serving as a reflection on the delicate balance between humanity and the environment.
Tradition and Sustainability for a Better Future
The Christmas installation symbolizes love for nature and pays homage to the land's resilience. It looks forward with hope, blending tradition with sustainability, as SCARPA reaffirms its commitment to creating a more conscious and respectful world where craftsmanship and nature merge into a message of renewal.
