A Pierra Menta to remember for the SCARPA® Team!

Robert Antonioli continues an amazing season and after the title of European Champion achieved on Etna he also wins the 33rd edition of Pierra Menta.

On the top step there is also an exceptional Katia Tomatis, with “the most beautiful victory” of her life.
Giorgia Felicetti and Giulia Murada conquer the Pierra Juniores.

It’s a Pierra Menta that SCARPA® and the skimo community have followed breathless, this 33rd edition that ended with excellent results for our skimo team athletes: Robert Antonioli won, with Michele Boscacci, the first place with a total time of 09:57:54, as well as Katia Tomatis, climbing on the first step of the women's podium together with the French partner Axelle Mollaret, with a time of 12:11:04.

On the podium also the French Xavier Gachet with his second place and Didier Blanc, who finished third. Great results also among women, Marta Garcia Farres from Spain conquered the third place.

Winning the Pierra Menta was a dream come true for both our athletes: after a broken crusade in the past, Robert gave everything in this edition. Continuing an extremely positive season, in the last stage Robert recovered precious minutes to earn the first place, in a race (and a sport) that doesn’t spare injuries and surprises.

«The most beautiful victory of my life» told us Katia Tomatis. It has always been her dream to win "the most beautiful competition", with four long stages in which the tuning with Axelle and the concentration were key to accumulate advantage progressively.

Who knows what other surprises and satisfactions we can expect in SCARPA® in the rest of the season, for the moment we celebrate: amazing Robert and Katia, higher and higher!
