RECOMMENDED INSPECTION TO CUSTOMER

Based on our policy of customer care, we have decided as a precautionary measure to recommend an inspection of these boots at the store where they were purchased.

REASON FOR INSPECTION

In limited cases, these boots may have screws that do not ensure adequate connection of the ski/walk mechanism to the cuff.


WHAT PRODUCTS ARE AFFECTED?


This potential issue may only be  present on production batches from 600010 commercialized from August 2022.


HOW TO RECOGNIZE THE BATCH?

The batch of the boot can be traced from the label on the box in the upper right corner as shown in the image. 

WHAT TO DO IF YOU NO LONGER HAVE THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING

  1. Set the ski/walk mechanism to “walk” mode.
  2. Press the cuff backwards as shown in picture 1.
  3. The year of manufacture can be read on the inside of the cuff, see image 2.
  4. If the arrow points to 2019 , 2020 , or 2021 , the boot is NOT affected by this issue.
  5. If the arrow points to 2022 ,boot can be affected by this issue and require screws replacement.

WHAT TO DO

If you own this boot, we recommend you to go to the store where you purchased it. The retailer will arrange, free of charge, for an inspection and replacement of the screws.


This is a quick and easy procedure, which we recommend to be done promptly  at our specialized retailers.
